Masking & Preparation - How we operate

• All light fittings, sprinkler heads, air-conditioning ducts, smoke detectors, speakers, etc. are masked

• Walls are covered (from below the ceiling grid to floor level) with plastic sheeting continuing to cover any furniture, stock (including foodstuffs if required), computers, desks and fixtures and fittings etc

• An antistatic brush is utilized to remove any loose debris on the ceiling surface eg Air-conditioning soot/dust.

SCR Coating Application

• All light fittings, sprinkler heads,

• On completion of the preparation the relevant SCR coating is applied directly onto the ceiling tiles and associated metal grid system using an airless spraying machine, overlapping by no less than 50% on each pass so that an even finish is achieved once dry.

• A final quality control check is performed to ensure that no areas have been missed.

Making Good and Project completion

• On completion of the application phase, the masking material are left in place for approximately 30 minutes to allow any overspray to drop into the sheeting.

• Finally all masking are removed and the site is vacated in readiness for reoccupation.
